The Pacific Tigers will open up their season at 12th ranked Arizona this Friday.
The Arizona Wildcats are coming off an incredible 34-4 season where they fell short and were eliminated in the Elite 8. The Wildcats will have an almost impossible time repeating last years season largely in part that they are losing their top 4 scorers from last years team. This Arizona Wildcats team will be led by the 7 foot Senior Center Kaleb Tarczewski who last season averaged 9.3 points per game, 5.22 rebounds and shot 57% from the field. Helping lead this team will also be Senior Guard Gabe York who only averaged 23 minutes a game but averaged 9.2 points a game in those minutes. Arizona will be a young yet talented team this year with oncoming stars such as Ray Smith and Allozo Trier. Arizona will open up at home against Pacific this Friday.

The Pacific Tigers are coming off of a disappointing 12-19 season. Pacific hit a rough patch last year where they lost 8 games in a row. Some of this was due to their lack of experience but, they return some of their key players in hopes for having a better year. Junior Guard T.J. Wallace returns after averaging 13.0 points a game, 5.6 rebounds and 2.6 assists. 6 foot 8 Senior Forward Eric Thompson also returns after averaging 8.2 points per game, 5.6 rebounds and shooting over 50% from the field. Pacific also returns David Taylor and Ray Bowles who combined for 14.6 points a game. Unfortunately for Pacific they will tested early as they open up against 12th ranked Arizona.
Pacific is 1-9-1 against the spread in their last 11 games vs. Pac-12 teams. The Tigers are 1-5-1 against the spread in their last 7 road games. Arizona is 1-5 against the spread in their last 6 non-conference games. The under is 5-1 in the Wildcats last 6 home games.
The Pacific Tigers dont stand much of a chance here on the road at Arizona. Arizona has lost some key players from last seasons team but will have enough talent to be one of the top teams again. This one is tough because its opening night but, i think Arizona will pull away before halftime. Take Arizona to cover this big spread at home.
