The Marist Red Foxes go on the road to oppose the Kent State Golden Flashes on Saturday.
In season’s past the Marist Red Foxes have had a huge problem getting both their scoring and defense on the same page. The Red Foxes did not have an issue with either in a 73-63 victory versus Dartmouth. The offense sank half their looks and hit 10-23 from long range while limiting the Mean Green to 34% from the floor and 3-19 on threes to negate Dartmouth’s 18 extra looks. The Red Foxes saw Khalid Hart explode for a game high 27 points and eight rebounds on 5-9 from the floor followed by Isaiah Lamb with 15 points on 5-9 as well. Phillip Lawrence and KJ Lee each chipped in with nine points on a combined 9-13 from the field.

The Golden Flashes were touched for 49% shooting but only countered with 39% accuracy which rendered 14 more shots useless. Kellon Thomas paced the Golden Flashes offense with 17 points on 5-15 from the field with Jimmy Hall adding eleven points and six pulls while Khaliq Spicer chipped in with ten points and seven rebounds on 4-5 shooting.
