The Arkansas-Little Rock Trojans look for a 3-0 start after wins over Central Baptist College and Centenary. Marcus Johnson Jr. is averaging 19 points and 2.5 assists while Josh Hagins is averaging 11 points and five rebounds. Lis Shoshi is grabbing eight rebounds and Jermaine Ruttley is dishing 3.5 assists. The Arkansas-Little Rock Trojans are shooting 40.4 percent from downtown and have 33 assists on 60 made baskets. The San Diego State Aztecs look to get to 3-1 by remaining unbeaten on their home court. The San Diego State Aztecs are averaging 73.5 points on 44.5 percent shooting and allowing 70.5 points on 35.3 percent shooting. Jeremy Hemsley is averaging 13.7 points and 2.7 assists while Dakarai Allen is averaging 11.7 points and three rebounds. Winston Shepard is the third double-digit scorer and Zylan Cheatham is grabbing 6.3 rebounds. The San Diego State Aztecs continue to play their elite level defense, allowing 61 or less points in two of their three games. SDSU also has an improved offense with seven players averaging at least six points. San Diego State has won 10 of its last 11 home games.
The Trojans are 10-4 ATS in their last 14 road games vs. a team with a winning home record and 2-5 ATS in their last 7 Saturday games. The Aztecs are 3-1-1 ATS in their last 5 non-conference games and 3-7 ATS in their last 10 Saturday games.
Arkansas-Little Rock is in over its head here, as the San Diego State Aztecs aren't the teams they've played earlier this season. This will be a big wake up call for the Trojans, and I'm not sure they'll be able to answer the bell.
