Texas Tech vs. Minnesota - 11/22/15 College Basketball Pick, Odds, and Prediction

USA TODAY Sports

The Minnesota Golden Gophers bounced back from Thursday’s loss to Temple to beat Missouri State on Friday by five points to land in this game. Minnesota is averaging 71.8 points per game and they are shooting 41.6 percent from the floor including 37.4 percent from beyond the three-point arc while defensively they are allowing 64.5 points and their opponents are shooting 34.7 percent. Joey King leads the Gophers averaging 17.5 points per game. Nate Mason is averaging 13 points, Carlos Morris is averaging 11.2 points and 5.5 rebounds, and Charles Buggs is averaging 8.5 points and 5.5 rebounds. Minnesota is 3-1 thus far this season but they look far from a dominant team.

Texas Tech is 5-2-1 against the spread against the Big Ten, 1-4 against the spread in their last five neutral site games, and 1-5 against the spread following a win. Minnesota is 2-5 against the spread in their last seven games, 1-5-1 against the spread in their last seven neutral site games, and 2-14 against the spread against the Big 12. Texas Tech has covered the point spread in their last four games against Minnesota.

Texas Tech is getting one point here so it is a coin flip and really that is how it all shakes out to me as well but I will take Texas Tech but this pick is a lean at best.
