The Drexel Dragons also need a victory after a brutal 0-3 start to the season. The Drexel Dragons are averaging 73.7 points on 47.2 percent shooting and allowing 79.7 points on 48.2 percent shooting. Tavon Allen is averaging 17 points and 2.3 assists while Rashann London is averaging 14 points and 3.3 rebounds. Terrell Allen is dishing 4.3 assists and Kazembe Abif is grabbing 9.3 rebounds. The Drexel Dragons are shooting 32.7 percent from beyond the arc and 59 percent from the free throw line. Drexel’s free throw shooting is downright pathetic and hasn’t helped when all three of its losses have come by single digits. Drexel better figure things out quickly before the Dragons season is over before it really started. Ahmad Fields is questionable with a knee injury.
The Bulldogs are 11-5 ATS in their last 16 neutral site games and 1-5 ATS in their last 6 non-conference games. The Dragons are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a ATS loss and 4-11 ATS in their last 15 non-conference games.
The Drexel Dragons are a better team than what they've shown us so far. Drexel also knows it has to start winning if it has any hope of making this season a success. Desprate and the better team, I'm siding with the Dragons and the small chalk here.
