The Arkansas-Little Rock Trojans hope to remain unbeaten when they visit the Tulsa Golden Hurricane.
I don’t know what the future holds for the Arkansas-Little Rock Trojans but they have looked very good in building a 4-0 record behind strong defensive play. The Trojans stood tall defensively once again in a 54-46 victory against East Carolina last time out. A 39-23 second half erased an eight point deficit as UALR forced 22 turnovers to total 15 more shots to offset 26% shooting while the Pirates 31% accuracy and 20-14 deficit at the stripe squandered a winnable game. Marcus Johnson Jr. led the Trojans with 13 points with Josh Hagins and Lis Shoshi netted eleven and eight points.

The Tulsa Golden Hurricane are penciled in as a challenger in the AAC with a veteran roster. The Golden Hurricane had won four in a row before dropping an 83-75 decision at South Carolina where the never recovered from a nine point hole in the first half. The Gamecocks were the better shooting squad as they hit half their looks while Tulsa countered with 44% which equaled three more field goals in a game that was extremely close in most other areas. Shaquille Harrison tossed in a game high 20 points and snagged six boards followed by an 18 point effort from James Woodard. Marquel Curtis netted eleven points with three players adding between 7-8 points.
The under is 8-1 in Arkansas-Little Rock’s last 9 non-conference games and the Trojans are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games overall. The Golden Hurricane are 1-6 ATS in their last 8 games overall. I think this line is about right but the Golden Hurricane have performed well in my view against some solid competition...
