The Pacific Tigers are 1-3 this season but they are coming off of their first win of the year. Pacific is averaging 74.5 points and they are shooting 40.6 percent from the floor while defensively they are allowing 71.2 points and their opponents are shooting 39.3 percent. Ray Bowles leads the Tigers averaging 16.5 points and 6.8 rebounds per game. T.J. Wallace is averaging 15 points and 5.3 rebounds, Tonko Vuko is averaging 8.3 points and 5.3 rebounds, and Jacob Lampkin is averaging 8.0 points and 6.0 rebounds. Pacific has a lot of rebounds and it is more of a byproduct of having a lot of rebound opportunities.
Sacramento State is 5-2 against the spread in their last seven games, 5-1-1 against the spread in their last seven non-conference games, and 1-7-1 against the spread against the West Coast Conference. Pacific is 5-1 against the spread against the Big Sky, 7-3 against the spread in their last 10 non-conference games, and 1-4-1 against the spread on the road against a team with a winning home record.
Sacramento State is the better team so far and five isn't too may points to be laying with them so while it is just a lean CSUS is my play.
