The Catamounts are 4-9-1 ATS in their last 14 Monday games and 1-6 ATS in their last 7 non-conference games. The Gamecocks are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 home games and 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games overall.
Western Carolina lost their leading scorers from last year in James Sinclair and will need to rely on both Mike Brown and Torrion Brummitt to carry the workload for the Catamounts this season. South Carolina has gotten off to a fantastic start to their 2015-16 season as they’ve been great in all areas of the game, especially when it comes to rebounding and turnovers. South Carolina hasn’t played the toughest schedule to date but did beat a very good Tulsa team and I think they are just too well-rounded team for Western Carolina to stand any chance is this one. I’m taking South Carolina to cover this spread in this one.
