The Boise State Broncos look to go on a run when they visit the Portland Pilots.
The Boise State Broncos are a threat in the Mountain West but a tough early season schedule has the team staring at a 3-4 record. The Broncos have dropped back to back contests following a 68-59 defeat to Arizona. BSU trailed by eleven at the half and were never able to make a run. The Wildcats led the shooting battle 49%-39.6% which led to four more baskets while the Broncos 5-20 effort on threes likely cost them a chance at winning. James Webb III led all scorers with 17 points and ten rebounds on 7-13 with Nick Duncan netting ten points on 4-7 from the field. Anthony Drmic and Lonnie Jackson combined for 17 points but the team lacked explosiveness.

The Portland Pilots are not getting much love from the experts and likely have to prove themselves after a 3-4 start to the year. The Pilots need to reverse their fortunes and string a few wins together after an 80-79 loss to Southern Illinois saddled the team with consecutive defeats. Portland held a slight shooting edge 52%-50% but 17 turnovers gave the Salukis a few more buckets which was crucial. Bryce Pressley led the offense with 18 points and seven pulls with Jarrel Marshall tossing in 15. Jason Todd followed with 14 points and five yanks while Alec Wintering netted 12 points and handed out ten assists.
Boise State are 20-7 ATS in their last 27 games overall and the under is 9-4 in their last 13 non-conference games. Portland are 3-10 ATS in their last 13 games overall. The Broncos have played a tough schedule thus far and will look to take out some frustration…
