Siena jumped all over Manhattan early in this one taking a 37-20 lead at halftime and outscored the Jaspers by a 52-34 margin in the 2nd half. Manhattan shot 42.0% from the field and committed 24 turnovers in the loss. The Jaspers allowed Siena to shoot 49.1% from the field was outrebounded by Siena by a 43-24 margin. Leading the way for Manhattan was Shane Richards who had 26 points and 3 rebounds. On the season, the Jaspers have been led by Shane Richards (19.8 ppg, 3.0 rpg, 1.4 spg), Rich Williams (16.4 ppg, 6.4 rpg), and Zane Waterman (8.6 ppg, 6.0 rpg). This is not going to be one of the better games this Sunday as both teams have really struggled so far this season. Marist has a couple good scorers in Khallid Hart and Brian Parker but have struggled on defense. Manhattan has had similar troubles as they’ve been heavily reliant on Shane Richards and Rich Williams however, can’t seem to stop anyone on the defensive end. I’m probably staying away from this one as I don’t trust either team, but if I was going to go with someone, I would have to lean towards Manhattan at home.
