The 24th ranked Oregon Ducks improved to 7-1 (0-0 Pac-12) on the season after they defeated the Navy Midshipmen, 67-47, this past Monday. Oregon was without their leading scorer in Tyler Dorsey, however, had no problem with Navy as they had a 13 point halftime lead and limited the Midshipmen to just 24 points in the 2nd half. Oregon shot 47.1% from the field and forced Navy to commit 18 turnovers. The Ducks held the Midshipmen to just 31.6% shooting from the field and 14.3% (2-14) shooting from beyond the arc. Boise State vs. Oregon - 12/12/15 College Basketball Pick, Odds, and Prediction

USA TODAY Sports

The Boise State Broncos won their 3rd straight game and improved to 6-4 (0-0 MW) on the season after defeating the Loyola-Marymount Lions, 67-66, this past Wednesday. Boise State struggled offensively in this one but got a big 3-point play by Mikey Thompson in the closing seconds to help the Broncos secure the victory. Boise State shot 40.4% from the field and 32.1% (9-28) from three-point range. The Broncos held the Lions to 40.3% shooting and was outrebounded by Loyola-Marymount by a 39-32 margin. Leading the way for Boise State was James Webb III who had a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds. On the season, the Broncos have been led by Anthony Drmic (14.6 ppg, 3.4 rpg), James Webb III (13.4 ppg, 8.9 rpg), and Mikey Thomson (10.5 ppg, 2.7 rpg, 4.6 apg). Offensively, Boise State is averaging 79.4 ppg on 47.0% shooting from the field and 36.0% shooting from beyond the arc. The Broncos average 9.5 three-pointers per game and have an assist/turnover ratio of 1.21. Defensively, Boise State is holding their opponents to an average of 67.8 ppg on 42.9% shooting. The Broncos have a rebound margin of 4.2 and a turnover margin of 1.9.

The Ducks are 12-4 ATS in their last 16 games overall and 5-2 ATS in their last 7 road games. The Broncos are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games following a ATS loss and 20-6 ATS in their last 26 games overall.

Oregon has a nice start to their season as the Ducks are getting it down at both ends of the court and already has some quality wins over Baylor and Valparaiso. Boise State is a very experienced team that has rally improved defensively this season and still has a few scorers that can put the ball in the net. At this time, we don’t know the status of Tyler Dorsey as he is being listed day-to-day and will probably be a game time decision, however, even if Dorsey doesn’t go, I like how the Ducks are playing defensively right now and I think that they’ll get enough offense from Dillon Brooks and Chris Boucher to pick up the road win. Take Oregon to cover the small spread.
