Illinois State was picked by many to contend with Wichita State for the MVC this season however and although they come into this matchup with a losing record, the Redbirds have played a tough schedule to start the season including games against SDSU, Kentucky, and Maryland. Saint Joseph’s isn’t a very deep team but they certainly have talent in their starting five especially in DeAndre Bembry and Isaiah Miles. Saint Joseph’s is a tough place to play however, Illinois State is a talented team that could cause Saint Joseph’s some trouble with their strong defense and I just think this is way too many points to give Illinois State in this one. I’m taking Illinois State and the points.
