The Southern Utah Thunderbirds were not very good at the beginning of last season but they showed solid improvement latter in the year but we have not seen that improvement carry over the Thunderbirds have not been able to get their scoring or defense on the same page which has had a direct impact in three straight defeats. The Thunderbirds are coming off of an 88-52 loss at Butler that was a 20 point deficit at the half and was never competitive. SUU was limited to only 36% from the field with the Bulldogs connecting at almost 64% which was game over. Travon Langston was the Thunderbirds best player with 17 points on 6-12 while Trey Kennedy chipped in with ten points.
Montana State are 6-14 ATS in their last 20 vs. the Big Sky. The over is 11-3 in Southern Utah last 14 Thursday games and is 7-2 in their last 9 home games while the Thunderbirds are 7-2 ATS in their last 9 vs. Big Sky. Tough to gage either squad right now so I’ll take the points…
