The Drexel Dragons visit the North Carolina-Wilmington Seahawks in a CAA tilt.
The numbers tell the story of the Drexel Dragons with not enough scoring and defense hurting them in the win column. The Dragons put forth a solid effort in a 77-70 loss at Iona as they fell behind by 13 after 20 minutes before a second half rally fell short. The Gaels burned the nets at 53% but gave the ball away 17 times which helped the 41% shooting Dragons stay alive with 12 more looks at the basket. Sammy Mojica led Drexel with a game high 20 points on 8-12 from the field with Tavon Allen tossing in 16 points while Terrell Allen and Kazembe Abif combining for 19 points.

The North Carolina-Wilmington Seahawks were not given much love in the preseason but at 8-3 there has to be a few eyeballs on them. The Seahawks enter conference play riding a three game winning streak after a 106-83 victory versus Campbell on Monday with a 65-37 second half run breaking open a competitive contests. The Fighting Camels sank shots at 43% while UNCW burned the nets at nearly 56% and totaled ten more looks at the basket. CJ Bryce poured in a game high 24 points and six pulls with Chris Flemmings adding 18 points and 12 rebounds. Jordan Talley tossed in15 points while Craig Ponder and Denzel Ingram netted 13 points apiece.
Drexal are 2-6-1 ATS in their last 9 games overall and are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 road games while the under is 42-20-1 in their last 63 road games. The Seahawks are 8-2-1 ATS in their last 11 home games and the under is 9-4 in the last 13 meetings. The Seahawks look better then expected but I’ll take all the points and hope Drexel at least stays competitive…
