The Central Florida Knights look for a road win versus the East Carolina Pirates Saturday.
The East Carolina Pirates have generally received strong efforts at the defensive end of the floor which is why they stand at 8-5. The Pirates have won three of four after knocking off South Carolina State which a 27 point game at the half and in the win column. The Bulldogs connected at almost 44% but that didn’t compare to the Pirates 57.7% accuracy including a 16-30 performance from long range. The tandem of Caleb White and BJ Tyson were too much to handle with 21 and 20 points respectively. Charles Foster tossed in 15 points while Prince Williams and Clarence Williams combined for 17 points.

The Central Florida Knights don’t look like anything special at 6-5 although the offense has enough punch to make them an interesting team. The Knights need to get in the win column after dropping two of three capped off by a 67-50 defeat at the hands of visiting George Washington on Tuesday with a 33-19 run securing the decision. GW simply shot the ball too well at 52% while Central Florida countered with 35% which was a difference of 12 baskets. Tanksley Efianayi led UCF with 12 points with Shaheed Davis tossing in eleven points. No other player scored more then six points so offense was difficult to come by.
Central Florida are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games overall and the under is 6-2 in their last 8 overall. East Carolina are 12-5 ATS in their last 17 home games and the over is 11-5-1 in their last 17 overall while the under is 17-8 in their last 25 home games. I don’t think the Pirates are that great where they are a no brainer here because they need to play well just to win…
