The South Florida Bulls visit the Central Florida Knights meet in an AAC tilt Wednesday.
The South Florida Bulls are have problems consistently scoring and their defense has not been able to carry the load. The result has been losses in seven of eight after a 72-58 defeat at Southern Methodist that was just a three point contest at the half. The Bulls held a slight 42.6%-41% shooting edge but the Mustangs pulled away by turning 21 personals in to a decisive 20-8 advantage in an otherwise even boxscore. Jahmal McMurray was the Bulls top scoring option with 17 points with Chris Perry and Bo Ziegler scoring 12 points apiece. Jaleel Cousins chipped in with ten points but the rest of the team mustered seven points.

For those that follow the Central Florida Knights they know the team hasn’t been much of a factor in recent seasons. This year thus far the Knights look improved with a quality offense behind them. UCF is coming off a 71-68 victory at East Carolina Saturday as a four point road underdog. The Knights connected at 44% but gave the ball away 18 times to give the 35% shooting Pirates 14 more looks at the basket and keep them in the game. AJ Walker gave Central Florida a game high 23 points and six pulls on 7-11 shooting with Tanksley Efianayi adding 12 points and six boards. Daiquan Walker and Adonys Henriquez combined for 21 points while Justin McBride chipped in with eight points and 13 rebounds.
