Towson struggled last season but had high hopes to be one of the surprise teams in the CAA this season and have been outstanding on the defensive end so far this season, ranking 44th in scoring defense and 55th in defensive FG %. James Madison has a bunch of talent but has had a rough start to CAA play this season dropping games to both College of Charleston and Elon. It’s tough to really judge Towson so far as they haven’t played much in competition and lost by 32 points to CAA favorite, the Hofstra Pride. James Madison won’t want to fall to 1-3 in CAA play this early in the season and as I don’t think James Madison will shoot so poorly from beyond the arc for the 2nd straight game, I’m going to take James Madison to cover this spread.
