If the Montana State Bobcats develop a viable defense they could be a dangerous squad as they have been outscored 81-77. The much maligned defense has held their own with back to back victories after a71-64 win versus Sacramento State as a three point home dog. The Bobcats limited the Hornets to 41.7% from the field while connecting at over 44% which was enough to get the win. Marcus Colber led all scorers with 21 points and five helpers on 7-14 with Sarp Gobeloglu adding 20 points and six pulls. Tyler Hall chipped in with eleven points and six boards with eight players scoring overall.
Portland State are 5-2 ATS in their last 8 Saturday games and Montana State are 16-37-1 ATS in their last 54 Saturday games. The favorite is 7-2 ATS in the last 9 meetings and the home team is 7-2 ATS in the last 9 meetings. This is a flip the coin type of contest as I don’t see advantages for either side…
