Valparaiso has one of the best defenses in the country as they rank in the top-10 in both scoring defense (T-4th) and defensive FG % (7th). Detroit has been outstanding on the offensive end and will try to keep the tempo at a faster pace than Valparaiso is comfortable in this one. Both teams have been playing well but as Detroit is very solid on their home court and should be ready to play against the Horizon League favorites, I think this is just too many points to pass up on. I’m taking Detroit and the points in this one.
