The #2 Kansas Jayhawks pay a visit to the 19th ranked West Virginia Mountaineers.
The Kansas Jayhawks have been challenged a few times this season but at the end of the day they are still looking to become the top ranked tam in the nation with a 14-1 record after downing stubborn Texas Tech 69-59 on Saturday night. Both teams sank shots in the 41% but the Jayhawks hit five more three pointers and were 14-16 from the line as KU pulled away late with key stops and clutch shooting. Frank Mason gave the Kansas offense 17 points, ten boards and five helpers while Perry Ellis added 15 points and ten rebounds. Wayne Selden Jr. chipped in with nine points in a quiet night for the nation’s second ranked offense.

The #19 West Virginia Mountaineers have been racking up the wins with dominant play at both ends of the floor. That trend continued in a 77-60 rout of visiting Oklahoma State as a 14.5 favorite on Saturday. The Mountaineers led by 12 after 20 minutes and just kept the pressure on the rest of the way. The Cowboys actually held a 43%-39% shooting edge but gave the ball away 16 times to hand WVU 15 more looks with the Mountaineers sinking more threes and free throws that added up to an easy win. Jevon Carter paced the West Virginia offense with 16 points and five assists with Jonathan Holton adding 15 points and nine rebounds. Devin Williams scored 12 points and snagged another nine boards while Jaysean Paige chipped in nine points.
The under is 10-3 in Kansas last 13 Tuesday games and the Jayhawks are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 Tuesday games. West Virginia are 9-2 ATS in their last 11 home games and the under is 26-9-1 in their last 36 Tuesday games. The Mountaineers are dynamite at home so I’ll back them even against Kansas…
