The Boise State Broncos look for a road win against the Nevada Wolf Pack Wednesday.
The Boise State Broncos have hotter then a firecracker with nine consecutive victories behind scoring or defense when needed. The Broncos did a little of both in an 81-70 win versus Fresno State Saturday as they took a 19 point lead at the break and coasted the rest of the way. BSU sank half their looks with the Bulldogs staying close on 43% and ten more shots but the deciding factor was Boise State’s 13 more free throws. James Webb II paced the offense with 25 points and nine rebounds while Nick Duncan and Anthony Drmic netted 13 points apiece. Mikey Thompson scored 12 and Chandler Hutchison chipped in with nine points.

The Nevada Wolf Pack have generally played well but it eventually comes down to their performance in conference play. The Bulldogs improved to 2-1 in the Mountain West after dominating Air Force 86-63 as a two point road dog Saturday. Nevada took a 17 point lead in to the locker room and never let the Falcons attempt a comeback. AFA was held to 37% and gave the ball away 17 times while Fresno State connected at nearly 48% with 18 more looks at the basket. Tyron Criswell led the Bulldogs with 19 points and seven boards while Eric Cooper Jr. and DJ Fenner followed with 16 points apiece. Cameron Oliver and Marqueze Coleman added 12 point each and combined for 20 rebounds with Lindsey Drew tossing in nine points with five yanks.
