The Charleston Cougars host the William and Mary Tribe in Colonial action Thursday.
The William & Mary Tribe have rebounded from a loss in the CAA opener to win three in a row after downing Northeastern 78-60 as a two point favorite. The Tribe opened up a seven point edge in the first half before pulling away in what turned in to a rout. The Huskies were limited to 31% shooting while W&M blasted away at 58% including a 9-18 mark on threes. Omar Prewitt let the scoring spree with 23 points followed by a 15 point effort from Daniel Dixon. Terry Tarpley added eleven points and eleven rebounds while Greg Malinowski and David Cohn combined for 18 points with Cohn handing out seven helpers.

The Charleston Cougars seem like a team that will be difficult to predict as they opened their Colonial schedule with a road win versus James Madison and then lost at Drexel last time out by a 61-54 count. CofC had a slight 43%-41% shooting advantage including seven more looks and a 7-15 mark from beyond the arc but this game was won with the Dragons nailing 21 more free throws in a boxscore that seemed to favor the Cougars for the most part. Peyton Hulsey was the Cougars lone double digit scorer with eleven points on 5-6 from the floor. Jarrell Brantley scored nine while four others added between 7-8 points.
William & Mary are 7-3 in the last 10 games overall. Charleston are 6-19-1 ATS in their last 26 Thursday games and the under is 12-5 in their last 17 Thursday games while the Cougars are 16-35-2 ATS in their last 53 home games.
