The Line: UC Davis Aggies -3 -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds
The UC Davis Aggies host the Cal State Northridge Matadors in Big West action.
The Cal State Northridge Matadors are in desperate need of a hot streak because a win here and there isn’t going to them any good. The Matadors have won two of three after an 85-75 road win at Cal State Fullerton. CSN took a seven point edge at the half and kept the Titans at arm’s length the rest of the way. CS Northridge burned the net at 54% with the Titans held to less then 31% which negated 17 more looks which was the winning stat. Kendall Smith led the Matadors with 30 points while Tavrion Dawson and Michael Warren netting 12 points apiece and a combined nine boards. Tre Hale-Edmerson added nine points and ten rebounds with Aaron Parks scoring 14.
USA TODAY Sports
The UC Davis Aggies are not nearly the team they were last season and their record says as much. The Aggies have gone from challenger in the Big West to a team that is near the bottom of the conference. UCD have dropped eight of ten and are in danger of falling off the map already unless things turnaround immediately. The Aggies come off a 59-47 loss at Long Beach State where the 49ers were up eleven after 20 minutes and traded baskets the rest of the way. Josh Fox was the Aggies top scoring threat with 13 points and five yanks while Brynton Lemar tossed in ten points but nobody else scored more then six points.
UC Davis are 3-13 ATS in their last 16 games overall. Cal State Northridge are 2-8 ATS in the last 10 meetings. The trends say UC Davis but they are not very good at all. I see no advantage in backing either side so show some caution…
