The Arkansas-Little Rock Trojans were the talk of the own with five straight wins to open the Sun Belt schedule before falling at Arkansas State . The Trojans got back in the win column with a 77-74, overtime decision at Texas State on Thursday as a 6.5 point favorite. UALR rallied from ten points down to send the game to the extra session with 53% shooting including a 10-15 effort on threes to outlast the 43% accuracy of the Bobcats and their five more free throws. Josh Hagins led the Trojans offense with 19 points and six assists with Mareik Isom adding 14 points and five yanks. Lis Shoshi and Kemy Osse netted 13 points apiece with five others also scoring.

The Texas-Arlington Mavericks are similar to their counterparts n that they have done a ton of winning and much more then expected. The Mavericks improved to 5-1 in the conference with a 91-64 rout of Arkansas State as a 13 point favorite behind a 19 point edge at the half.
