Southern Illinois has been one of the most surprising teams in the country this season as they’ve been outstanding on the offensive side of the ball ranking 35th in the country in FG% and 80th in 3P FG%. Missouri State struggled in their non-conference schedule but hasn’t played bad since the beginning of MVC play which included a surprising 59-58 victory at home versus Northern Iowa. Missouri State is currently holding MVC opponents to an average of 64.6 ppg and I think they’ll be able to slow the Salukis offensive in this one. The line currently hasn’t been set for this one but if Missouri State is getting 4-6 points in this one, I’m going to go with the Bears.
