The #23 Indiana Hoosiers look to move up the national rankings with a win at the Wisconsin Badgers.
The Indiana Hoosiers might be a surprise in the Big Ten but they certainly are not sneaking up on anybody at 17-3 and a #23 rank. Northwestern probably thought they had a chance at pulling a road upset of the Hoosiers Saturday but at the final buzzer it was an 89-57 rout that was never in doubt. Indy took a 17 point lead in to the locker room behind 52.6% accuracy including a 13-28 mark on threes and 14 more free throws which made the Wildcats 45.5% shooting a non factor. Yogi Ferrell led the scoring spree with 17 points and six assists with Max Biefeldt tossing in 13. Collin Hartman added eleven points and five yanks while Troy Williams and Robert Johnson netted nine points apiece and combined for 13 rebounds.

At 11-9 this is obviously not the strongest Wisconsin Badgers squad we have seen but the team has been very competitive and is more a victim of playing in a rugged Big Ten then anything. The Badgers have won back to back contests after a 66-60 victory at Penn State Thursday with a nine point edge at the half holding up. This was a fairly even boxscore with Wisky holding a 41.7%-38.6% shooting advantage that equaled three more field goals. The Badgers received a game high 20 points and eleven rebounds from Ethan Happ with Nigel Hayes adding 15 points and five assists. Bronson Koenig and Alex Illikainen combined for 17 points with Illikainen snagging seven boards.
The over is 7-2 in Indiana last 9 Tuesday games and the over is 10-4 in their last 14 road games. The over is 12-4 in Wisconsin last 16 home games. The underdog is 7-1 ATS in the last 8 meetings and Indiana are 4-12 ATS in the last 16 meetings. The Badgers need to slow this down to have a chance and they have been good at muddying the water so to speak…
