I don’t think it’s any big secret that the Southern Miss Golden Eagles are going nowhere fast. Wins have been not been common so Thursday’s 71-58 victory versus visiting UTEP as a 3.5 point home dog was a big deal. The Miners led by four at the break before the Golden Eagles dominating the final 20 minutes 45-28. UTEP hit shots at 40% for a few more baskets versus the 33% Golden Eagles but USM nailed 12 more bombs and 13 more free throws. Kourtlin Jackson paced Southern Miss with 15 points and five yanks with Quinton Campbell adding 13 points and nine rebounds. Robert Thomas tossed in 12 points and snagged six boards while Khari Price and Michael Ramey combined for 19 points.
The under is 8-2 in Southern Mississippi last 10 Saturday games and Southern Miss are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 home games. These teams are a combined 10-29 and that’s all I can say about this…
