The UC Davis Aggies oppose the Cal State Fullerton Titans for the second time on Thursday.
The UC Davis Aggies were not given much ink in the off season but have suddenly gotten hot. The Aggies have ripped off wins in four of five following a 65-52 victory versus Cal Poly as a four point home dog behind a late surge. UCD held a 46%-43% marksmanship edge which added up to four more field goals while eight more free throws secured the victory. Neal Monson led all scorers with 20 points 9-14 with Josh Fox adding 18 points and ten rebounds on 7-16. Brynton Lemar tossed in 15 points and posted five yanks while Darius Graham chipped in with seven points. The Aggies offense was primarily a three man attack which has to be the exception and not the rule.

I believe the Cal State Fullerton Titans are dangerous because they have scoring potential but they also tend to allow points. The Titans have lost six in a row capped off by an 81-71 defeat to UC Riverside with the Highlanders erasing a four point hole at the break on the strength of a 54 point run over the final 20 minutes. UCR sank shots at 48% and held a 30-12 advantage at the line to offset the Titans 42% shooting and 16 extra shots. Tre Coggins and Jamar Akoh scored 13 points apiece with Akoh adding seven boards and five helpers. Kyle Allman chipped in with ten while Khalil Ahmad and Malcolm Henderson combined for 17 points and 13 rebounds.
UC Davis are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 road games and the under is 36-17-1 in UC Davis last 54 road games. CS Fullerton are 3-9 ATS in their last 12 games overall and the over is 6-2 in their last 8 overall while going 6-2 in their last 8 vs. Big West. The underdog is 12-3 ATS in the last 15 meetings and UC Davis are 10-4 ATS in the last 14 meetings. The Aggies are playing well so why not take the points…
