The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets lost their 2nd straight game and dropped to 12-10 (2-7 ACC) on the season after being defeated by the Duke Blue Devils, 80-71, this past Tuesday. Georgia Tech was able to gain a 40-36 halftime lead however, struggled from beyond the arc and was outscored by Duke by a 44-31 margin in the 2nd half in the loss. Georgia Tech shot 42.5% from the field and 10.5% (2-19) from beyond the arc. The Yellow Jackets allowed the Blue Devils to shoot 48.3% from the field and 47.8% (11-23) from beyond the arc. Leading the way for Georgia Tech was Nick Jacobs who had 17 points, 8 rebounds and a steal. On the Yellow Jackets have been led by Marcus Georges-Hunt (15.6 ppg, 3.3 rpg, 2.6 apg,), Adam Smith (14.5 ppg, 2.5 rpg, 1.8 apg), and Charles Mitchell (10.9 ppg, 10.5 rpg). Offensively, Georgia Tech is averaging 75.8 ppg on 44.4% shooting from the field and 35.2% shooting form beyond the arc. The Yellow Jackets average 6.1 three-pointers per game and have an assist/turnover ratio of 1.43. Defensively, Georgia Tech is allowing their opponents to an average of 71.8 ppg on 43.7% shooting. The Yellow Jackets average 4.4 blocks per game and have a rebound margin of 7.6.

The Hurricanes are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 Sunday games and 10-4 ATS in their last 14 games following a ATS win. The Yellow Jackets are 7-2-1 ATS in their last 10 vs. ACC opponents and 20-7-1 ATS in their last 28 games following a ATS loss.

Miami has been solid this season on both sides of the ball however, have struggled on the road in conference play as they currently have just a 1-3 record. Georgia Tech has lost 5 of their last 6 games however, have been competitive at home this season, which includes a win over Virginia. Miami has averaged just 64.75 ppg away from home this season and as Georgia Tech should get big games from Marcus Georges-Hunt and Charles Mitchell, I think this game will come down to the wire and the Yellow Jackets will cover  with the points. Take Georgia Tech and the points.
