The Akron Zips look to solidify their grip on first in the MAC with a win at the Bowling Green Falcons.
The Akron Zips can score and defend as well as anybody in the MAC which is why they are a hefty 19-4 and lead the East Division. The Zips have racked up six consecutive victories after downing Central Michigan 92-87 on Friday as a 4.5 point home favorite. The Zips sank shots at 49% including a 16-32 mark on threes but the 44% shooting Chips hung tough with ten bombs and a few more free throws. Josh Williams led five Zips with DD in scoring with 22 points on 6-7 from distance while Antino Jackson added 19 points and six pulls. Reggie McAdams followed with 14 points and six boards while Noah Robotham and Isaiah Johnson added 13 and 12 points respectively.

Demajeo Wiggins led a trio of double digit scorers with 12 points and nine rebounds with Spencer Parker adding eleven points and five yanks while Ismail Ali netting ten points.
Akron are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 road games. Bowling Green are 12-5-3 ATS in their last 20 Tuesday games. Akron are 21-8 ATS in the last 29 meetings and the under is 12-5 in the last 17 meetings. I hate road chalk but I’ll take a shot here with the zips…
