The Fordham Rams battle the visiting St. Bonaventure Bonnies in Atlantic Ten action Wednesday.
The St. Bonaventure Bonnies have proven to be one of the top teams in the Atlantic Ten but they can not afford a letdown. After losing three straight the Bonnies have won three in a row after downing Saint Louis visiting Saint Louis 65-62 as a 13 point favorite. Both teams sank shots at around 40% with the Bonnies hurting themselves with 16 turnovers with a few more free throws being crucial. Jaylen Adams led the Bonnies with a game high 19 points and six pulls followed by a 15 point, five yank and six assist effort from Marcus Posley. Dion Wright added 14 points and ten rebounds with Denzel Gregg chipping in with seven points.

The Fordham Rams might be out of the Atlantic Ten race but they need to win some games to improve their position for the conference playoffs. The Rams have dropped three or four following an 82-60 to visiting St. Joseph’s as a 7.5 point home dog. The Hawks led by ten at the break and never took their foot off the gas behind 51% shooting which added up to nine more field goals versus the 39% shooting Rams. Christian Sengfelder and Ryan Rhoomes paced Fordham with 16 points apiece with Rhoomes grabbing nine rebounds. Jon Severe tossed in 14 points but the offense lacked scoring options overall.
