The North Dakota State Bison look to move up the Summit standings with a win at the South Dakota Coyotes.
The North Dakota State Bison were one of the favorites in the Summit League entering the season but right now they are just trying to snag a spot in the top four. The Bison are heading in the right direction with wins in three of four capped off by a 62-46 win versus Fort Wayne as a four point favorite Saturday. NDSU jumped to a 12 point lead at the half and never let up behind stifling defense. The Bison didn’t light up the scoreboard at 42% but didn’t have to with the Mastodons limited to just 28%. AJ Jacobson paced the Bison with 22 points and seven boards with Kory Brown adding ten points and five yanks. Dexter Werner followed with nine points and nine rebounds while Malik Clements chipped in with eight points and five pulls.

The South Dakota Coyotes were not supposed to be a factor in the Summit League and unfortunately that has been the case with the team mired in the bottom half of the standings. The Coyotes had lost four in a row before downing visiting Oral Roberts 91-79 for the season sweep. The Coyotes were up six heading to the locker room before slowly pulling away behind 53% accuracy with the defense holding their own with 41% shooting allowed for a nine field goal difference. Casey Kasperbauer led five double digit scorers with 17 points followed by Trey Norris with 15 points. Tyler Flack tossed in 12 points while DJ Davis and Eric Robertson added ten points apiece with Robertson snagging eight rebounds.
The under is 10-3 in North Dakota State last 13 vs. Summit and the Bison are 3-9 ATS in their last 12 road games while the under is 6-2 in their last 8 overall. The over is 12-5 in South Dakota last 17 home games and the favorite is 6-2 ATS in the last 8 meetings. No line is out with the Bison possibly missing a player or two…
