USA TODAY Sports

The Ohio Bobcats won their 3rd straight game and improved to 16-8 (7-5 MAC East) on the season after defeating the Buffalo Bulls, 94-75, this past Friday. Ohio had little trouble with Buffalo as they got out to a 44-28 halftime lead and build their lead up to as many as 30 points in the victory. Ohio was outstanding on the offensive end as they shot 53.7% from the field and 56.0% (14-25) from beyond the arc. The Bobcats allowed the Bulls to shoot 43.1% from the field and outrebounded Buffalo by a 41-31 margin. Leading the way for Ohio was Antonio Campbell who had a double-double with 28 points, 15 rebounds, 2 blocks, 1 assists, and a steal. On the season, the Bobcats have been led by Antonio Campbell (17.0 ppg, 9.5 rpg, 1.6 bpg), Jaaron Simmons (14.0 ppg, 3.9 rpg, 7.9 apg), and Kenny Kaminski (12.8 ppg, 4.0 rpg, 1.2 apg). Offensively, Ohio is averaging 77.7 ppg on 47.2% shooting from the field and 38.6% shooting from beyond the arc. The Bobcats average 8.1 three-pointers per game and have an assist/turnover ratio of 1.08. Defensively, Ohio is allowing their opponents to average 73.6 ppg on 43.3% shooting. The Bobcats have a rebound margin of 2.9 and a turnover margin of -2.1.

The Eagles are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 Tuesday games however, just 1-4 ATS in their last 5 road games. The Bobcats are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games vs. a team with a winning straight up record and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games overall.

Eastern Michigan has played much better as of late winning 3 of their last 4 games but have struggled on the road in conference play, posting a 1-5 record. Ohio has looked great over the past few weeks, winning 5 out of their last 6 games, and have average 82 ppg during their recent winning streak. Eastern Michigan has allowed their opponents to average 81.8 ppg during away games this season and as Ohio seems to be shooting well at the moment, I think they’ll easier cover this mid-range spread at home. Take Ohio to cover.
