The Kansas State Wildcats pay a visit to the TCU Horned Frogs on Tuesday night.
The Kansas State Wildcats are not the same team we are accustomed to seeing but they will be going to the postseason somewhere. The Wildcats have dropped three of four following a 58-55, overtime loss at Oklahoma State on Saturday. This wasn’t pretty with KSU holding a 36.7%-34% shooting advantage with both combining for 34 turnovers with an extra basket making the difference. The Wildcats received 14 points and 13 rebounds from Justin Edwards on 4-15 with DJ Johnson adding eleven points and seven boards. Barry Brown tossed in ten points and snagged six pulls while Dean Wade chipped in with seven points but there wasn’t enough scoring options.

The Texas Christian Horned Frogs stand at 11-14 and probably go to the postseason if they end the year with a winning record. The Horned Frogs have lost three of four and need wins and help which did not happen Saturday in a one sided 73-42 loss at West Virginia as a 17.5 point underdog. The Mountaineers jumped to 19 point lead heading to the locker room and then continued to keep the pressure on until the final buzzer. TCU was done in by 33% marksmanship and 26 giveaways for just 15 field goals while West Virginia used 37.5% shooting and 19 more looks at the basket along with 21 free throws to do plenty of scoring. TCU received 20 points from Chauncey Collins on 7-15 with Vladimir Brodziansky chipped in with nine points.
Kansas State are 12-5 ATS in their last 17 Tuesday games and TCU are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games overall. I’m not confident in either team to be honest so I’ll probably be on the sidelines…
