North Dakota State allowed Omaha to use a 7-2 run at the end of the 1st half to take a 34-31 halftime lead and although the Bison stayed close with the Mavericks, couldn’t never gain the lead in the 2nd half. The Bison have a rebound margin of 2.1 and have a turnover margin of 1.2.
The Leathernecks are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall and 6-2 ATS in their last 8 road games. The Bison are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games following a ATS loss however, just 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games vs. a team with a losing straight up record.
Western Illinois pulled off one of the more shocking upsets of the season after defeating Wisconsin to open up their season however, have really struggled in Summit play as they’ve averaged just 66.5 ppg. North Dakota State has struggled on the road this season but still has been great at home posting a 10-1 record while holding their opponents to just 60.4 ppg. Western Illinois has a great player in Garrett Covington however, North Dakota State has the 37th ranked scoring defense in the country and as they were able to beat the Leathernecks by 13 points on the road, I think the Bison will be able to cover this large spread at home. Take North Dakota State to cover.
