The Houston Cougars can stay in the mix for a top four spot in the AAC with a win at the Tulane Green Wave.

The Houston Cougars are an improved team at 18-7 with their ability to both score and defend. The surging Cougars have won five of six with dominant play at both ends of the floor in an 82-58 rout of visiting Central Florida as a ten point favorite on Saturday. UH  led by 15 after 20 minutes and continued the pressure until the final horn. The Cougars fired away at 50% and sank 12 more free throws to total eight more baskets then the  40% shooting  Knights who turned the ball over 14 times. Devonta Pollard led all scorers with 16 points with Donrad Knowles and LeRon Barnes adding 13 points each and 13 rebounds. Damyean Dotson tossed in 12 points while Ronnie Johnson chipped in with nine points.

The Tulane Green Wave are mired in the bottom half of the AAC and are trying to win some games to gain momentum for the conference playoffs. The Green Wave have won back to back contests after a 94-87, overtime win versus visiting Memphis on Saturday as a 7.5 point home dog. The Green Wave hit shots at 47% with seven more free throws to overcome the Tigers 42.5% accuracy and nine more looks at the basket. Malik Morgan and Dylan Osetkowski poured in 23 points apiece with Osetkoski grabbing 13 rebounds. Louis Dabney was next in line with 17 points while Cameron Reynolds tossed in 12.

Houston are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 Wednesday games and  are 2-5-1 ATS in their last 8 road games. Tulane are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 Wednesday games and are 2-5-1 ATS in their last 8 games overall while the under is 23-10 in their last 33 home games.
