The Colorado State Rams look for revenge when they visit the Utah State Aggies Wednesday.
The Colorado State Rams have dreams of finishing in the top four in the Mountain West but they need to finish the season strong instead of winning a few and losing a few. The Rams had won back to back games before going to UNLV and dropping an 87-80 decision as a 6.5 point underdog on Saturday. Both teams sank shots at around 45% with the Rebels hitting five more free throws. Colorado State received 16 points and six pulls from Joe De Ciman with John Gillon and Antwan Scott scoring 13 points each. Tiel Daniels and Emmanuel Omogbo added 12 points each and combined for 20 rebounds while Prentiss Nixon chipped in with eight points.

The Utah State Aggies do not appear to be as strong as they were a year ago and their play the past few weeks says so. The Aggies had lost five in a row before an 80-72 victory versus visiting New Mexico as a two point home dog. An eight point halftime lead held up with the teams trading baskets over the final 20 minutes. The Rebels connected at nearly 46% with eight more looks at the basket but USU used 49% shooting and ten more free throws to get the win. Chris Smith led the Rams with 19 points with Lew Evans adding 15 points and six pulls. Jalen Moore tossed in eleven and posted five yanks while Quinn Taylor netted eight points and grabbed ten rebounds.
The over is 15-7 in Colorado State last 22 overall. The over is 21-7 in Utah State last 28 vs. Mountain West and is 22-8 in their last 30 overall while going 46-18-1 in their last 65 home games. At worse these teams are about equal so I’ll take the points for now…
