The Air Force Falcon look to avoid the season sweep when they visit the Fresno State Bulldogs.
The Air Force Falcons are just trying to avoid the Mountain West basement with the regular season winding down and they have been holding their own with back to back victories following a 76-72 win versus visiting New Mexico on Saturday as an eight point home dog. The Falcons won on the strength of a late surge behind 48% shooting with the Lobos 41% accuracy accounting for three more AFA field goals. Jacob Van paced the Falcons with 22 points and five yanks on 7-14 with Hayden Graham adding 21 points and eleven rebounds on 8-13. Zach Kocur was next in line with 13 points and eight boards while CJ Siples chipped in with nine points and six assists.

The Fresno State Bulldogs own second in the MWC so they control their own fate with just four games remaining in the regular season. The Bulldogs have been heading in the right direction with wins in four of five after knocking off visiting Utah State 75-68 as a 4.5 point favorite on Saturday. A seven point at the break held up through the final buzzer despite the Aggies holding a 43%-41% edge in marksmanship. The Bulldogs won with 14 forced turnovers leading to 12 more looks at the basket and four more field goals. Marvelle Harris gave Fresno State 22 points and five helpers with Cullen Russo adding 17 points and five yanks while Cezar Cameron netting 14 points and posting six pulls.
The under is 7-3 in Air Force last 10 road games and is 16-7 in their last 23 Wednesday games. The over is 11-4 in Fresno State last 15 Wednesday games. This game is generally very competitive but I warn you that the numbers in the MWC don’t always tell the truth this year…
