The Nevada Wolf Pack are looking for a win versus the Utah State Aggies in MWC action Wednesday.
The Utah State Aggies are not as strong as they were a season ago but in my view I think they are capable of beating anybody in the Mountain West. The Aggies had won back to back contests before a 75-68 loss at Fresno State on Saturday ended the good times. The Aggies fell behind by seven at the half but never were able to cut in to the deficit with 43% marksmanship and 14 turnovers giving the 41% Bulldogs logging 12 more looks and four more field goals. Jalen Moore was the Aggies best weapon with 13 points, six pulls and five assists with Shane Rector tossing in another 13 points. Chris Smith added eleven points and five yanks while Darius Perkins chipped in with eight points.

The Nevada Wolf Pack are 5th in the conference standings and need to win out and get some help to crack the top four. The Wolf Pack were heading in the right direction before a painful 102-91, overtime loss at UNLV as a 5.5 point underdog. The Rebels connected at 45% to record six more baskets versus the 34% marksmanship of Nevada who logged seven more looks at the basket. Marqueze Coleman poured in a game high 31 points and hauled in ten rebounds with Eric Cooper Jr. netting 24 points. Cameron Oliver added 14 points and grabbed 21 rebounds while DJ Fenner added eleven points and seven boards.

Nevada are 7-2 ATS in their last 9 games overall and are 7-2 ATS in their last 9 vs. Mountain West while the over is 13-6 in Nevada last 19 Wednesday games. Utah State are 14-4 ATS in the last 18 meetings and the over is 8-3 in the last 11 meetings in Nevada. The trends favor Utah State but Nevada has more at stake…
