The Nebraska Omaha Mavericks end the regular season with a visit from the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles.
The Oral Roberts Golden Eagles have two games left in the regular season with a chance to go in to the postseason with a full head of steam. The Golden Eagles have won three in a row after edging Denver 62-58 as a six point home favorite. ORU took a nine point lead in to the break and withstood a late DU rally despite the Pioneers holding a 44%-40% shooting edge as seven more free throws provided just enough cushion to win. Obi Emegano poured in 26 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead the Golden Eagles attack with Albert Owens adding 15 points and eight boards. Brandon Conley tossed in 13 points on 6-7 but just eight points came from four others.

The Nebraska Omaha Mavericks sit in third in the Summit League with a chance to move a little higher but losses in four of six ended those plans. The Mavericks come off of a 94-90 defeat at IUPU-Ft. Wayne as a three point underdog. The Mastodons were up by ten at the break and managed to hold on with 46% shooting and 14 more free throws negating the Mavericks 49% accuracy and five extra baskets. Tre-Deon Hollins netted a game high 24 points, five yanks and seven assists and seven assists with Randy Reed adding 19 points and five pulls on a combined 19-29. Jake White scored 16 points and snagged six boards while Tre-Shawn Thurman chipped in eleven points and hauled in nine rebounds.
Oral Roberts are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games overall and the over is 7-3 in their last 10 road games while the Golden Eagles are 17-35-1 ATS in their last 53 vs. Summit. The question here is whether this game has any significant meaning and will the teams just go through the motions so I’ll just side with the points…
