The question for Seton Hall is whether they have or will do enough to get an NCAA invite. Time will tell but the Pirates have won five of six after escaping St. John’s with a 62-61 victory as a 10.5 point road favorite on Sunday. Seton Hall nearly squandered a 14 point halftime lead in a sloppy performance with 36.5% shooting and 15 giveaways barely outdoing the 44% shooting and 20 turnovers of the Red Storm thanks to eight more free throws. Desi Rodriguez led all scorers with 24 points on 8-10 with Khadeen Carrington tossing in 12 while Derrick Gordon and Isaiah Whitehead netted ten points apiece with Whitehead posting six steals.
Providence are 10-3 ATS in their last 13 road games and the over is 20-8 in their last 28 road games. Seton Hall are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games overall and are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 vs. Big East while the Pirates are 9-4 ATS in their last 13 Thursday games. All signs point to teams heading in the opposite directions…
