The Loyola Marymount Lions have gone nowhere fast this year and their record says as much. Being in the top heavy West Coast is a difficult task however and many of the big offenses have hurt the Lions. LMU snapped a two game skid with a 100-87, overtime victory versus visiting San Francisco as a two point home dog where they squandered a 14 point lead at the half before recovering in the extra session. The Dons hit shots at 41% with LMU countering at 46% with eleven more free throws which says this game shouldn’t have gone to OT. Steven Harvey was high scorer for the Lions with 25 points and seven boards with Marin Mornar adding 19 points and five assists. Petr Herman netted 13 points and hauled in eleven rebounds followed by a 17 point, ten assist effort from Brandon Brown.
Pepperdine are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games overall and are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 vs. West Coast while the under is 13-5-1 in their last 19 Saturday games. Loyola Marymount are 6-15 ATS in their last 21 vs. West Coast and are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games overall while going 17-36 ATS in their last 53 home games. This game doesn’t really mean much to Pepperdine and I wonder if they play hard for 40 minutes…
