The Yale Bulldogs visit the Cornell Big Red as they try to remain atop of the Ivy League.
The Yale Bulldogs have been red hot with victories in nine of ten and they have needed every win as they are in a virtual tie for first in the Ivy League with Princeton. The Bulldogs come off a 76-71, overtime win versus visiting Dartmouth as a 15 point favorite. The Big Green connected at 47% for a few more baskets versus the 41% shooting Bulldogs who hit more threes and sank six more free throws. Makai Mason and Brandon Sherrod paced the offense with 16 points each with Sherrod snagging seven boards. Nick Victor added 15 points and eight boards with Justin Sears netting 14 points and eleven rebounds. Anthony Dallier chipped in with ten points but the rest of the team scoring five points.

The Cornell Big Red are sitting at the bottom of the Ivy League standings and have been in a season ending slide. The Big Red have struggled at both ends of the floor in losing eight in a row following a 70-64 loss at Princeton. The Tigers led by just three at the half before pulling away over the final 20 minutes. The Big Red were held to 43% from the floor while Princeton countered at 48% including a 10-27 effort on threes while sinking seven more free throws. Matt Morgan gave the offense a game high 20 points followed by Robert Hatter and his 18 points. However the team needed more options on offense with five others combining for 22 points.
