North Dakota State and South Dakota State will meet for the 2nd straight year in the Summit League Championship game for the chance to punch their ticket to the NCAA Tournament. During the regular season, the Bison and Jackrabbits split their regular season series as both teams was able to win by a solid margin on their home courts. North Dakota State has struggled offensively at times this season however, have one of the better defensives in the country as they rank 24th in the country in scoring defense. South Dakota State was the favorite coming into the season to win the Summit and have a well-rounded team that ranks in the top-100 in both offensive and defensive FG%. I’m intrigued to see where the line ends up in this one as I believe it will be pretty close to a pick-em with how South Dakota State has struggled in the conference tournament however, I think the Jackrabbits will final be able to defeat their rival behind their solid backcourt and cover a small spread if their favored. Please check back for updates when the line is released.
Update (10:38 AM EST) - This line is alot more than I expected South Dakota State would have to cover and although I like the Jackrabbits to get the win here, I'm going to go with the Bison to keep this one close enough to cover with the points. Take North Dakota State and the points in this one.
