The top seed Wagner Seahawks have a golden opportunity to win both the NEC regular season crown and the conference playoffs which would punch their ticket to the Big Dance. The Seahawks were impressive in an 81-65 victory versus Long Island with a 52-32 second half to erase a four point deficit at the half. The Blackbirds were limited to 41.5% accuracy including 1-11 from distance while Wagner countered at 45% with five more field goals. Michael Carey poured in a game high 28 points and snared ten rebounds on 12-18 with Romone Saunders adding 18 points and seven boards. Corey Henson tossed in 12 points and posted five yanks while Mike Aaman chipped in with seven points.
On the surface the chalk looks high especially when these teams split in the regular season and this is a championship game. Having said that, if Wagner plays as capable they can win by a lot…
