Coming up on Monday evening from the KFC Yum! Center in Kentucky, the William and Mary Tribe will be visiting the Louisville Cardinals in college basketball action.
William and Mary enters this game at 1-0 following a big 96-44 victory over Bridgewater in their opening game. Five Tribe scorers were in double-figures here, as William and Mary outscored Bridgewater 55-22 in the first half and 41-22 in the second.

Daniel Dixon and Connor Burchfield each scored 11 points for William and Mary, with Dixon adding two steals and Burchfield notching one rebound, one steal and a block.
As for Louisville, they’re entering play on Monday with a 1-0 record as well. The Cardinals didn’t have much trouble with the Evansville Aces in their opener, taking the first half 43-27 and the second half 35-20.
Louisville was led here by Jalen Johnson, who doubled up on 19 points, 14 rebounds, three blocks and an assist. Donovan Mitchell had a nice outing for the Cardinals as well, securing 15 points, five rebounds, four steals and three assists. Anas Mahmoud was also in double-figures for Louisville with 10 points, five rebounds and three blocks.
William and Mary is 6-1 ATS in their last seven Monday games, and 8-3 ATS in their last 11 non-conference games. William and Mary is also 11-5 ATS in their last 16 road games, and 13-6 ATS in their last 19 games overall.
Meanwhile, Louisville is 4-1-1- ATS in their last six home games, and 18-7-1 ATS in their last 26 Monday games. Louisville is also 7-3 ATS in their last 10 non-conference games and 1-3-1 ATS in their last five games following an ATS win.
William and Mary will provide a little bit of a stouter challenge for Louisville than in their first game, but the Cardinals are firmly in the driver’s seat here. I don’t see Johnson and company having too much trouble dispatching an overmatched Tribe team and covering. Give me Louisville.
