The Delaware Blue Hens faceoff with the Miami (OH) Redhawks in a college basketball tilt Friday.
The Delaware Blue Hens basketball program seems to be in disarray after firing head coach Monte Ross ( finally) and then trying to keep players from leaving. The Blue Hens opened the year 2-0 before suffering a 74-68 loss at La Salle Tuesday as a 15.5 point underdog. This was tight throughout before the Explorers pulled away late in what was an even boxscore. Both teams connected at around 44% but La Salle totaled more free throws and threes to get the win. UD leaned heavily on 19 point scorers Cazmon Hayes and Ryan Daly while Anthony Mosely added 17 points, seven boards and five helpers.

The Miami (OH) Redhawks are somewhat of an unknown so it might take some time to figure them out. The Redhawks did play a strong game in an 89-87 defeat at Wright State Tuesday where they rallied from a 21 point halftime deficit to fall just short. Miami (OH) led the shooting battle 51.7%-46% with the Raiders offsetting that advantage with more makes at the charity stripe. Rod Mills Jr. and Jake Wright kept the Redhawks in the game with 17 points apiece on 11-20 marksmanship. Michael Weathers gave the Redhawks 14 points, five yanks and five assists while Zach McCormick netted 12 points but the bottom line was the big first half hole clost the team a game.
The under is 7-2 in Delaware last 9 overall. The under is 12-3-1 in Miami (OH) last 16 Friday games and the over is 7-3 in Miami (OH) last 10 overall.
There are so many questions for both teams I’m not sure if risking money is a wise idea. I’m a Delaware fan so…
