The Line: UNLV Rebels -12 -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds
The Northern Arizona Lumberjacks shoot for the road upset of the UNLV Rebels in a college basketball tilt.
The Northern Arizona Lumberjacks went from conference contender to rebuilding thanks to graduation so not much is expected this season. The Lumberjacks 1-4 start says it all after a 92-58 defeat at Washington on Sunday. NAU trailed by 12 and the Huskies never stopped scoring until the final horn. The Huskies held a healthy 52%-30.8% shooting edge which was a difference of 19 field goals and was obviously decisive. Felix Rivera- Vega led the Lumberjacks with eleven points and six boards with Alo Kaluna tossing in ten points and snaring five pulls while Brooks DeBisschop chipping with nine points.

The UNLV Rebels have won back to back contests but the pundits claim wins won’t come easily as the team is rebuilding with so much talent gone. The Rebels come off of a 77-68 victory versus visiting CS Fullerton on Saturday. This game wasn’t decided until the second half when UNLV slowly gained control. The Rebels held a slight 43%-41% shooting advantage but the decisive difference came at the charity stripe where UNLV turned 27 fouls in to ten more makes at the line. The Rebels received a team high 14 points from Jalen Poyser with Kris Clyburn tossing in 13. Jovan Mooring and Uche Ofoegbu added 12 and eleven points respectively in a balanced attack.
The under is 60-26 in Northern Arizona last 86 non-conference games. UNLV are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games overall and the over is 8-3 in UNLV last 11 overall while the under is 9-4 in UNLV last 13 non-conference games.
The line seems to be a bit much considering both teams lost the bulk of their talent but I’ll throw this out there…
