The Line: Michigan State Spartans -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds
The Michigan State Spartans and Baylor Bears meet Thanksgiving afternoon in a college basketball game at the Imperial Arena.
The Michigan State Spartans look for another big victory to build on their three-game winning streak. In Michigan State’s 73-62 win over the St. John’s Red Storm, the Spartans shot 43.1 percent from the field and made nine threes. Miles Bridges led MSU with 22 points and 15 rebounds while Eron Harris had 14 points and two assists. Lourawls Nairn Jr. was a third double-digit scorer and Nick Ward grabbed 10 rebounds off the bench. Michigan State is starting to put it together recently and could really give this young roster some confidence with a win here over a ranked team. Bridges is on pace to be considered the top freshman in the country. The Michigan State Spartans have won five of their last eight neutral site games.

The Baylor Bears look to build on their 4-0 start with another win over a ranked team. In Baylor’s 71-63 win over the VCU Rams, the Bears shot 43.8 percent from the field and forced 17 turnovers. Johnathan Motley led Baylor with 19 points and 10 rebounds while Manu Lecomte had 16 points and three assists. Al Freeman was the third double-digit scorer and Terry Maston chipped in eight points off the bench. Baylor has allowed 63 or less points in three of its first four games and is quickly looking like a serious NCAA Tournament team. As long as the offense keeps getting timely buckets, Baylor will be tough to beat this season. The Baylor Bears have won three of their last five neutral site games.
There's no line at the time this article was posted but the game is so early, there's little point in waiting for a line to be released. So, I'm going to side with the Baylor Bears winning this game. Baylor plays a pressure defense that this young Michigan State team hasn't seen yet and the time slots screwed the Spartans. Baylor has had several extra hours of recovery and should be the freseher team here.
Regardless of the line, I like Baylor to win this contest.
