The Dartmouth Big Green have kicked off the new season with an 0-2 record following a 79-62 loss to Fairfield. The Stags led by eight heading to the locker room and continued to pull away over the final 20 minutes. The two point favorite Stags burned the nets at 54% while the Big Green struggled to 34% including a 5-27 effort on threes with ten fewer baskets being decisive. The Dartmouth attack received 18 points and six boards from Evan Boudreaux on 5-12 with Guillen Smith and Taylor Johnson added eleven points apiece while Miles Wright chipped in with nine points and snagged six rebounds but the Big Green needed one more double digit scorer to make things more competitive.

I wouldn’t be surprised by whatever happens in this one and it takes guts to back either team…
